Autonomous marine surface vessel with radar mast under way at night

Marine Autonomous Robotic System

Autonomous surface and sub-surface vessels for persistent maritime surveillance, survey and force protection.

MARS-04 ON PATROL

The Marine Autonomous Robotic System delivers persistent presence at sea without placing crews in harm's way. Surface vessels and sub-surface vehicles operate for extended periods on a single tasking, holding station, sweeping patterns or shadowing contacts of interest.

Radar, AIS, acoustic and electro-optical feeds are fused on board and streamed back as a compressed, decision-ready picture. Contacts are tracked continuously, behaviours are scored against expected patterns, and unusual activity is escalated the moment it appears.

Typical roles include harbour and infrastructure protection, exclusive economic zone monitoring, hydrographic survey and mine countermeasures support.

  • Long-endurance autonomous patrol and station keeping
  • Radar, AIS, acoustic and EO/IR sensor fusion
  • Sub-surface vehicle launch and recovery
  • Encrypted over-the-horizon reporting
